Setting Properties?

Jan 12, 2011 at 3:10 PM

Hello,

I had a quick look at this and seems promising.

However, I can't seem to find a way to set custom properties, i.e. an equivalent of the /p switch?

Am I missing something, or has this intentionally been left out?

Thanks,

You can try this trick. It may work as you expected. (mPad will not support extra /p switch natively, as that requires GUI changes.)

1. In mPad main window, find the second text box in the first row (typically you set Debug/Release there).

2. Assume Debug is chosen and you need to specify an extra /p like "/p:TargetFrameworkVersion=v4.0", then you should make sure the following text is in the box,

Debug /p:TargetFrameworkVersion=v4.0

That seems to work, but I can't see the output of the build as the prompt disappears immediately - how can I see the output from the build?

Thanks,

If there is no error during the building process, currently what you see is by design.

If you really want to see if the output, you may try to launch MSBuild at a command prompt.
